The Child of Lov

We have yet to uncover the true identity of the Child of Lov, but that hasn’t stopped us from following his every move. With just a few offerings thus far, he has already made connections with some of music’s most talented. We are talking Damon Albarn, DOOM, Thundercat and more. Match that with his undeniable southern grit and ability to craft a catchy single, we hope the Lov Child takes full advantage of the gifts presented to him. Time will only tell where this man takes things next, but there are rumors of a full-length dropping in the near future.

Twigs is a bit of an enigma. First of all, there isn’t much information out there about her. What we do know is that she is from the UK, and she also happens to be one of the most exciting singers out right now within the darker subgenre of indie R&B. The only thing is that we hardly have any material to base this opinion on. Well, there’s the stunning “Ache“, of course, which stems from her gorgeous four-song EP. But we can’t wait to hear more from her as we move into 2013.

Missed out on World’s Fair, otherwise a lot of these artists are dope.

I’d argue that Clayton Samus & Da$h and Retch, could have a dope year too
