His beats have hints of J Dilla, down to the Mantronix siren, random rap vocal samples tossed into the mix and soundcloud tracks labeled as tributes to James Yancey. And though he’s unabashed by his Dilla admiration, his sound is very much his own.

Well, Øuŧяo.Đistinto?’s beats are like that, if there were about 15 boxes, that when moved around, made the all-smiles assistant look like a misfit toy version of Mrs. Potato Head.
